As a patient or visitor at Spectrum Health, we're here to help before, during and after your stay. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you, your family or your guests. If you or your family has a concern you don't feel is being addressed during your hospital stay, call our Condition Concern hot line at 7-7777 from any hospital phone. You can also contact The Joint Commission at (800) 994-6610 or by e-mail as well.
Patients
The best care includes effective communication among you, your family, your physicians and other members of your health care team. We welcome and encourage your participation and input. Our skilled staff hopes to make your stay with us, whether extended or not, as comfortable as possible. If you're treatment or procedure doesn't require you to stay overnight in the hospital, visit our outpatient services section for instructions and information about your care.
Visitors
The support of family is an important part of any patient's recovery. Our staff will work with visiting relatives to:
- Determine the best time for family to visit
- Talk about how the family can be supportive
- Designate a family spokesperson
- Decide who should know about a loved one's condition
- Provide resources during the hospital stay
